#FBF and #Countdown to Fall Open Invitational! 13 DAYS TILL OPEN PRACTICE!!! Here are 2 pictures of Larry in the Basil Shutt owned 13. Larry finished out the season for Basil in 1991 and they won the point championship that year after Basil had a heart attack mid season. The next year Dennis and Basil built the number 13 and the number 3 so Larry and Basil could both drive in the then called open wheeled limited sportsman class.

29 years ago on Saturday June 16 a racing addiction was born. This is the day Larry and Shirley Bigley welcomed their oldest child into their world and the racers welcomed her into theirs as well. With Larry racing Late Models at the time and Shirley helping to run McKean County Fair Raceway they choose to bring her to the track. Krystin first started coming to McKean at 8 days old. Phyllis, Shirley’s mom, was then running the popcorn stand so they put a pillow in one of the metal popcorn carriers and Krystin was content as can be. It is said they sold more popcorn that year than any other. As she grew she had many jobs at the track, from babysitter, to program seller, ticket taker, popcorn maker, picture taker, selling 50/50’s and now has been pit steward at MCFR for the past 5 years. So please come join us as we celebrate Krystin’s birthday this Saturday! We will have the ULMS Super Late Models, the UEMS Emods, the RUSH Crate Lates, the Pro/economods, the Pure stocks, Mini stocks and Kids class all on hand! Krystin has lots of fun suprises in store for the kid’s the in stands so it’s not a race you want to miss!!
